Mumu (aka Will) Moore started in film and photography over a decade ago, driven by a passion for storytelling through the medium of beautiful imagery.
Since then he has mastered many skills in production, camera, direction and editing. He uses these skills to make potent films and music videos as well as documentaries, adverts, social media content and art. During his early career, he worked as a Visual Effects Producer leading a team of thirteen people for the animation house Blade Of Grass in 2006.
After a break for the birth of his first child Tahu and a near death incident surfing, he resumed work directing and filming with Cleancut Productions until mid 2015.
Over the past decade his worldview has grown as he has delved into his whakapapa (ancestry), learning more about his whānaunga (relations) and their connection to Tauranga Moana on the East Coast of Aotearoa. In 2020 he took a year off to study Te Reo Māori through immersion at Te Wānanga o Raukawa in Otaki. This journey into Te Ao Māori world has greatly informed his film making and art, which has expanded to include carving, creating Taonga Pūoro, and facilitating sound healing workshops.
